Commercial Cleaning Service

When you present your work space and office equipment to potential customers or potential customers, want to see a dirty, neglected, stains on the walls, the surfaces of dust, the kitchen a mess, carpets stained, and covered with spilled coffee on the conference table? It may work for you and your employees, but may scare off customers. And, of course, not many employees who suffer this type of dysfunctional work environment for long not approach the human resources or management about the problem.

A professional commercial cleaning service can take the onerous task of cleaning offices. Everyone employees and management tasks, or do not have time to do so, and all the hard work that is not their job descriptions the cleanup, you can choose to surrender the cleaning professionals with experience.

Apart from the aesthetic toll dirt acquires an office, there are tangible health risk to work in a dirty environment. Think of the accumulation of the employees are exposed to germs daily. Streptococcus, rhinovirus, staph, E. Coli, influenza, salmonella, and cold germs. They come from a customer who sneezes, sick child of a client, from the kitchen faucet and the leftovers from lunch, from doorknobs, from the bottom of a bag of office telephones and bathroom sink.

The hiring of commercial cleaning products not only tidy up your office and eliminate these long-standing stains will enhance a healthy environment. It could also send the message that you are an employer who cares for the working environment as hospitable as the home environment. Clean, comfortable, attractive, comfortable and healthy.

Commercial cleaning services are not only the household cleaning. They have access to a hospital-grade disinfectants and chemicals and equipment to thoroughly clean the carpets in the office, and wax tile floors.

Here is a list Short of services offered and locations covered by a commercial cleaning company:

Bathrooms, garbage collection, handling of recyclables and stairs and elevators, sweeping, cleaning, polishing floors, disinfect doorknobs and microwaves, refrigerators, vents air conditioners, window glass and blinds, replacing the light bulb, lamp washing, baseboards, and carpet cleaning (to get rid of allergens).

The list goes on because the commercial cleaning service can adapt our work to the needs of the office. Ask about a custom calendar based on daily cleaning, weekly or monthly. The company may be able to offer a no cost estimate.

Typically, commercial cleaning companies have charges of $ 250 per month (a rate more basic minimum services), $ 877 for a period of three calendar days to a week, $ 599 per week for two days a week cleaning, and $ 375 per month for the day-to-week cleanings. (Note that these are rough estimates. You should discuss with your supplier of commercial cleaning services their fees and charges. The above prices are a rough guide.)

Who should hire a commercial cleaning service?

The offices that often see customers or employees working for the most days will have to consider these services. In the interest of presenting a clean environment and functional, and to protect the health of workers, it is prudent to consider the amount of office space can be better maintained.

Places to see frequent visitors, as waiting rooms, dentistry, medicine, and the hospital should consider these services. A clean environment not only make visitors feel welcome. This helps feel safe, too, and hopes that they have come to a clinic or medical facility that the values of healthy options and cleaning.

Sandwich shops and ice cream parlors in the submission agreement, too. A customer comes in and wants to order food. But few people feel comfortable ordering food in a dirty counter-stained. Few people prefer to have a slice of pizza in a booth adjacent wall stained with splashes of soda. And very few customers return to a food establishment where installation is considered ugly and smelly bathroom.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?

The effects of hiring a service commercial cleaning can impress clients, customers feel that in many respects, care and important (and which are important). Clean working environments also improve morale, which in turn could boost productivity and efficiency.

In addition, a cleaning service takes care of all the parties to maintain a sandy clean and tidy, leaving employees to only concern about their work.

Moreover, consider what really needs cleaning, and if employees can not pitch here and there to do the job. Sometimes that sink full of dirty dishes do not require professional cleaning. All you need is that employees to rinse the dishes after dinner and dishwasher-safe themselves. A bit of individual effort can go a long way together.

Here is baseline with commercial cleaning:

There are aesthetic and health benefits to tidy up, washing and disinfection of a business establishment. A service commercial cleaning has all the equipment and expertise to do the job. From bathrooms to door handles, these professionals take care of each detail.

If your a serious baker - skip this one

by homebaker from on 2010-08-19
I purchased the Pro 600 because I like to bake bread. The first one I received in November, 2009 stopped working the first time I used it. I resorted to my trusty 25 year old Oster. They sent me a new one and I returned the non-working one (after just 1 try). The second one I received does work, but I am not happy with it. After 3-4 minutes, the machine shuts down and I end up finishing kneading the bread by hand. Once the machine cools off, it eventually will start again - but who wants to wait that long!!!! I called Kitchen-Aid to register my complaint and basically, they told me that I'm SOL. The machine is designed to shut down when it gets hot and it's doing what it's designed to do. I also did not overload the machine. This machine is equipped to handle 8 cups of whole wheat flour (or so they say), when I actually use 6-7 cups of whole wheat flour. So, I was not maxing the capacity out. If you just want to mix a box cake batter, it would be fine (but you would be able to complete that task with a cheaper mixer). If you are a serious bread baker, skip this product. I'm switching to Hobart!

Dead After 8 months...

by S. Talbert from on 2010-08-17
My husband coached me in to buying the 600 Professional Series after watching my 5 Series (purchased refurbished 5 yrs ago in 2004) strain under the pressure of whole wheat bread dough. He reasoned that I could sell the old one while it worked well, buy the new model, and have an extended life on my breadmaking. I researched and read that KA had switched out from the plastic gearbox to an "all metal construction" and I thought this would surely be the penultimate of mixers.I bake once a week for my small family - 1 loaf of 100% whole wheat bread - 3 cups of flour. Half whole wheat all-purpose (stone ground), half cracked wheat. Every 3-4 weeks I make pizza dough with the same recipe. No worries, right?Yeah, that's what I thought, too. The new machine was so *pretty* and *powerful* - I was hooked like a fish on a line. I noticed the noise factor (WAY noisier and shriller than my old machine), but decided the extra "power" was worth it. Until the machine locked up while working a 3 c. flour loaf of bread. It's not a dense bread - has all of the requisite dough conditioners and vital wheat gluten - but it froze. I freaked out and read in the book that if it overheats, it will cool within 30 minutes and be fine. I stopped freaking out and went about my kitchen tasks, and sure enough, the mixer was fine in 30 minutes & my dough continued its kneading as normal.Fast forward to August; I've baked bread weekly from December '09 through June '10, took the month of July off to move across country, and picked back up in August. Today, I made a normal 3c. flour recipe and after 4 minutes of kneading on SPEED TWO, I hear some *horrible* screeching from the kitchen. My son and I both run in there at the same time and flip the machine off - when I tentatively turn it back on, the motor works (sounds awful) but the attachment shaft (with dough hook) will not move. aUgH.I finished my dough by hand while I'm on hold with a KA CSR and after being grilled about how much flour, the fact that I "shouldn't knead it for so long" and shouldn't use more than 9c. of "non-all purpose flour." Ummm... pretty sure that 3 c. of mixed flour isn't *supposed* to strain the "all metal construction" motor, ma'am. The response from the CSR? "Oh." 0_o So after the appropriate chastisement (from KA to me, of course - I receive 39 lashes with a wet noodle for using the machine with the appropriate amount of flour and an appropriate recipe), they are sending me a new KA 600 Professional Mixer. Not in my chosen colour (meringue), but in glossy white. The difference is that now I will not open it - I will sell it immediately and recoup as much of my money as I can. I'm headed to Bosch Universal-land, where the machines are actually BUILT for bread making.I'll be hand-kneading dough for a while, but I'll grudgingly say that if making cake, brownie, and cookie doughs are where you're at, this is a perfect machine. I have mixed whole wheat homemade brownies in it, cakes, frostings, and ice cream bases without a problem. It is NOT, however, designed for the serious bread-maker. Which is a shame - because I bought it based on its "powerhouse" label and how much stronger it claimed to be. I now I completely regret selling my older model. :

This mixer is a must have for everyone's kitchen!!!

by Shelly Littleton from on 2010-08-09
Almost 16 years ago, my husband bought me my first kitchenaide mixer, a 4 qt white one. It still looks and works like brand new. It never scratched, chipped or faded. This year for my 17th anniversary, he bought me my professional size 6 quart mixer as I have established strong baking skills and this skill has begun earning me some extra money. I love this mixer! It is powerful, it is an awesome size, and has allowed me to work less as far as how any batches I make of anything. The ability to adjust the speed is so beneficial that it has opened up the possibilities to make things I couldn't before. I would urge everyone who cooks, to get a kitchenaide mixer regardless of size. It will make your life so much easier in the kitchen! This is an all in one machine that will last a lifetime! I kept my first one, the motor has never broke down, and with my baking, I am sure that I will need to use a second mixer the next time I make a wedding cake! I assure you, there is no other appliance in the kitchen more dependable than this one!

Third Kitchenaid Mixer

by Booklover from La Habra, CA USA on 2010-07-16
This is the third KitchenAid mixer I own. I have a Classic white 4.5 quart tilt-head that I have used for 40 years, and a 5 quart bowl-lift Proline which is about 20 years old. In addition I have an antique Hobart 10 quart mixer from 1910. It still works, and I do use it. I bake a lot of bread and the main reason I just had to have this new mixer was because of the spiral dough hook, and yes...it was worth it. I think the spiral hook is far superior to the regular c-hook for mixing doughs, especially very sticky ones like rye. Also, I have made very stiff bagel dough in this mixer with no problem. I think the slow start is a nice improvement, eliminating splash out upon start-up. So far I have been pleased with this mixer, though it is noisy. Pros: 1. It accepts all the attachments from the other KitchenAid mixers. 2. The cover for the attachment connector is hinged. (I have had the cover fly off one of the older mixers). 3. According to enclosed literature, the plastic parts which were the focus of previous complaints have been replaced with metal parts so that should no longer be an issue.Cons: 1. I cannot imagine why, in this day and age, Kitchenaid would manufacture attachments that cannot go into the dishwasher! 2. The included splash cover feels kind of flimsy.Note: I have purchased Metro Beater Blades for each of the mixers. I find they do a great job mixing batters and cookie doughs and definitely cut down on bowl scraping. Additionally they can go into the dishwasher.

KitchenAid Bowl for 5 quart

by S. Lam from Wallingford, PA on 2010-06-07
I ordered the extra bowl to make live easier for me when I am baking double batches of a recipe. I no longer have to finish with one bowl, clean it up, and start the recipe again. The one I received from Amazon was a brushed finish, which is different from the one I have (a polished finish finish). I like both finishes. It fit my KitchenAid Stand Mixer perfectly. Price is great $39.99 and free delivery.

Right Bowl. Great Price.

by Marion R. from St. Louis, Mo. on 2010-01-21
I was given a HeavyDuty KitchenAid mixer but it didn't have a bowl. I searched eBay and amazon for a bowl that would fit. I found this bowl on amazon. It fits perfectly. It completed my mixer for a great price. I will pick another one up before the next holiday cooking spree.

Extra bowl for Kitchen Aid Mixer a great idea

by Christian A. Lease from Concord, MA on 2009-04-26
The same as the original with a higher-sheen finish on the outside. The original was brushed stainless and this is polished to a mirror finish. Otherwise it is great to have two bowls for complicated baking or to keep one in the fridge or put in the washer while moving ahead with the other.

Expensive but wonderful

by Arlenne B. Soranno from on 2010-07-28
I love this appliance and use it many times in a day. I had almost the same model that only lasted 3 years though, the teflon strip covering the metal heat bar wore out and could not be replaced or repaired by the company so I had to buy a new food saver. I am still very upset at the company for this flaw.....the old appliance was perfect in every other way.....what a waste. Anyway I love the sealer and could not do without one. I seal all of my packages of cereal, bread, chips, brown sugar etc. I vacuum seal and freeze almost all of my left overs, buy in bulk and vacuum and freeze, use the lid sealer for my mason jars, it is one of my favorite appliances in the kitchen that I could not do without. I am hoping the new model has a better heating unit in it that will not break any time soon. A.S.

No more knuckle bites

by CAK from Kent, WA USA on 2010-06-24
Before I changed over to the professional models, I owned the grater attachment, and it saved me lots of nicked fingernails and chewed up knuckles. I am glad that I finally purchased the one to fit this series of graters. I swear by my Microplane graters, and appreciate the added safety of having this little extra. PS: I passed the original one on to my daughter, who still has the home series of the graters, and she uses it a lot, too.

Not made for garlic.

by Carol L. Xaudaro from on 2010-01-09
I have only tried using it with garlic, and it's a mess. It does nothing, the garlic just slides out the bottom. I'm sure it probably works great with certain items, but I've yet to have the chance to try them.

Excellant accessory

by G. Robinson from CO on 2009-12-31
This is not perfect as it doesn't get the last slivers of chocolate or garlic but those are usable in sauces anyway. If you are grating thin chocolate like bars or the bakers bars then stack squares vertically (this lets you do more faster). The last slivers will melt in sauces or hot chocolate without problems the same for cheese. If its for decoration then save them for later use or pig out and eat them. I find it more useful for soft stuff with the course grater. I have some cut prof gloves (not micro plane) and they are way too clunky. Just don't obsess over the last bits. Not a must have but nice for some things.

A little disappointed

by J. Osborn from Texas on 2009-12-30
I purchased this because I have the professional fine and coarse graters and they are SHARP. Feeling that these sharp graters presented a danger I ordered this attachment. I really wanted this to work. The attachment leaves too much of a gap between the grater and the bottom of the attachment. Anything of a larger size works well with this attachment, but smaller things don't work at all. During the holidays I make a salad that calls for grated cranberries. I tried this attachment to grate the cranberries. What a mess! The cranberries maybe moved one or two times across the grater before going under the attachment. Adding more cranberries didn't work because the ungrated portions of the cranberries would pop out from between the grater and the attachment. My recommendation would be to purchase this (after all the price isn't that much) to use with cheese, chocolate, larger fruits such as apples, etc. Do NOT purchase it with the intention of using it with garlic, berries, grapes, etc. and having it work well.

rides too high

by MKDbruin from Tillamook, OR on 2009-12-05
I have this for my zester. The space between the bottom of the attachment and the grater blades is too large. Half of a clove of garlic slides underneath and doesn't grate.I'm better off grating by hand and tossing the smaller pieces before I grate my fingers.

Just love my new Microplane Professional Extra Coarse Grater. It is my third purchase of one of their graters and they truly are the only brand I will buy for my kitchen. Already own 2 different sizes of their graters. It is super sharp, easy to clean, easy to store, and I know I will have it for a lifetime!!I am so happy Amazon had access to these as they are very hard to find in the stores. If you are looking for a really great grater for things like cheddar cheese, this is the one for you!!

This item will shred like there is no tomorrow, be careful it is sharp and does not know the difference between flesh and item to be grated.

Spend the couple bucks and get this professional model!

by Rich Rodriguez from New Haven, CT on 2009-12-02
We had the regular model previously. The plastic chips and cracks easily, though the grater part is the same great grater. The professional model is SOOOOOO much better! The metal around the grater makes a world of difference. Do your yourself the favor, and spend the couple extra bucks and get this one, you won't be disappointed. And the seller shipped it quickly and safely. From now on, we'll only buy the professional model line from Microplane!

Very inconsistent

by J.C. from Michigan on 2010-02-15
We've had our Royal Professional since August 2008. When it works, it works fine. For us, we only make 2-3 capppucinos/lattes per day, so if it isn't flowing right that day (inexplicably), then it is annoying. It is back to Saeco for its 3rd repair for the same problems - inconsistent coffee flow. Saeco cannot explain the cause of the problem, as they seemingly repair or replace different parts each time. BTW, they will ask you to be burdened with taking it to UPS or a UPS Store (where you will be charged the return shipping); If you escalate it to the Customer Service Manager, they will cover the shipping and have UPS come to your door. However, the point of buying a $1,400+ automatic machine is to expect it to reliably make 2-3 coffees - when it doesn't, the inconvenience of being without it for weeks at a time during repairs is unacceptable. Saeco is now offering to replace the unit, but with the negative comments on all their products, I am disappointed and exhausted with the brand. So, if you're hoping to save your Starbucks or Caribou budget, not sure this is the answer.

Will do until I get my commercial 2-grouper

by Boon Ong from Kingston, ON on 2010-01-24
This machine makes good espresso and good cappuccinos. In terms of fully automatic machines, its price is infinitely more reasonable than that of a Jura. The price of a Jura X9 at $6500 is about that of a commercial machine. This Saeco will do nicely until I get my Faema E61 or Prestige semi-automatic 2-groupers with a Mahlkonig grinder. I doubt if my commercial machine will make a much better espresso or cappuccino but I think a manual machine has fewer maintenace problems and I have more control over the milk foaming. However the Saeco does offer the manual steam wand as well as its cappuccitore (milk foamer) and they both work well. I also like the energy saver feature of the Saeco since I prefer not to power off the machine. I also like the cup warmer. The screen menu is easy to use and the different options and diagnostics are useful.

Didn't Work Right Out of the Box

by P. Carvalho from California USA on 2009-05-22
Followed all the instructions right out of the box. The result was an error code (DREGDRAW MISS). Customer service was helpful... so helpful in fact I could tell I wasn't the first person with this problem. They emailed me info to remove the brew unit using a screwdriver to over-ride the program that was locking it in place. Still no luck. Then they thought maybe it was one of the three pressure switches. In the end they offered to have it shipped back for repairs. I delcined and returned it to where I bought it. I'm sure the thing works great, but you had better be prepared for breakdowns and have a plan to deal with them.

Saeco Royal Professional is a great machine

by E. Dale from Wash. DC on 2009-03-30
When our Saeco Vienna died, we were frankly desparate for an new machine. The Royal Professional (new) was available from Amazon for $900 including shipping and looked to be a whole lot better and had more useful features than other Saecos - new or rebuilts - in the $700-$800 range. The price from Amazon was about $400 less than any place else at the time. We love the machine. The only small grip is the bin that holds used ground coffee needs to be emptied after 10-12 shots. The capacity is much bigger than this, but the grounds enter at the lowest part of the back and just pile up there. Saeco 21103 Royal Professional Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, Silver and Blue

Saeco Royal Professional

by Dr. David H. Smith from on 2009-02-23
I've had one of these for a couple of years and use it 4 or 5 times a day. Generally it's excellent, though I have a few little complaints. Mine doesn't seem to handle pre-ground coffee too well, though I have to confess I've only tried that a couple of times. And it requires a fair amount of attention: adding water, emptying grounds, adding beans, occasionally cleaning the brew unit. And it's complicated--I have to get out the manual every time I want to descale it. But apart from those minor irritations, which may be more problems with the consumer than with the unit, we have been very happy with it, and feel lucky to have it. Makes great coffee.

Great iron, but just wished it would have lasted a little longer

by D. Artz from Austin, TX USA on 2010-04-13
I bought this iron back around August of 2007. So, it's been almost three years now the kids and I have used it for household ironing. I paid the big bucks for this iron because in the last few years prior to purchasing this iron I got sick of throwing away (five straight years in a row) irons I bought for around $80 or so (Krups, Panasonic, etc.).I thought by spending almost $400 bucks I would get a piece of commercial equipment that would last for a decade.Well, he I am now, about three years into owning it and the "steam" ability has stopped working :-(. I'm now facing a approx. $100 repair cost for this :-(Can't people make anything that lasts any more if your willing to pay for it??? Geeze :-(P.S. We have never filled the water tank with anything BUT water from our Reverse Osmosis system. So, I think hard water, etc. could be ruled out as a problem.

Good steam volume, some comfort drawbacks

by Tony Hill from Seattle, WA on 2010-01-16
Unlike the 2 Rowenta's I've had, this iron does not seem to lose steam volume during heavy use. I use the steam to pre-shrink fabrics, which requires a lot, and this unit does do the job. What I see as drawbacks of the unit are:The steam tubes from the base to the iron seem to be always in the way. Perhaps the tubes are not as flexible as I'm used to...?The soleplate only has steam holes at the top of the iron. The entire plate is not covered with steam holes as most irons have. The iron rests on silicone bumps on the base, and it is not secure. I'd be more comfortable leaving a hot iron to rest in a spot that is shaped like the soleplate of the iron, therefore more secure. If this iron could follow Rowenta's cue for comfort, or if Rowenta could follow this one's cue for steam output, we'd have a perfect iron!

Excellent small steam generator boiler/iron combo

by A Reader from Aloha, OR on 2007-06-05
I've had an i300 for a couple of weeks, and it is a delight to use. This is a no-frills commercial grade dry steam generator. The iron has a temperature control and a steam switch. The boiler unit has two on-off switches: one for the boiler itself and one for the iron. Oh, and a low-water idiot light. That's it.What's great is the quality and quantity of steam this thing puts out. If you turn down the iron's temperature below the usual "steam" range, and hit the steam switch, you will shoot a visible blast of steam at least four to five feet. When the iron is hotter, the steam jet is audible, but not visible until it hits something and cools down.Unlike ordinary irons, this steam blast can be held for many seconds without losing power. Also unlike ordinary irons and some boiler/iron combos, this steam is "dry" steam under pressure. "Dry" in this context means that there are no droplets of liquid water (which is why you can't see the blast). Dry does not mean "no water". If you blast your ironing board, the pad will quickly become saturated. (That's why vacuum boards are useful, but that's another story.)Recently I have been doing mostly garment construction, so I have been prefolding things like plackets, ironing a lot of seams and a lot of pre-shrunk yardage between the dryer and the cutting board. This unit works significantly faster than the conventional steam iron I was using. Maybe 50% faster on simple folds or flat ironing, and several times faster when trying to set crisp folds on six to eight layers of fabric (like the triangle fold on the end of a placket). I expect it to be very good (but have not yet tried it out) at construction pressing for tailored garments (e.g., sleeve cap ease on jackets and coats). The steam is generated in the boiler unit, at the far end of the 7 foot hose, not in the iron itself. The hose is amply long to reach across the full length of an ironing board, while still letting you maneuver the iron. It doesn't get in the way due to the built-in spring-loaded support arm for the hose.As a commercial unit, this is both less expensive and more durable than similar consumer steam generator boiler/iron combos. And it has a larger boiler tank than any consumer unit I am aware of.The i300 is the smaller of Reliable's similar units. The tank is easily good for an entire day of sewing-with-frequent-ironing, or maybe two hours of solid ironing. If you were running a laundry, you'd buy a larger unit. If you are operating at home, this unit is a great size. While the outside of the boiler unit gets uncomfortably warm after hours, it does not seem to be a burn hazard. I don't hesitate to put it on a board. The boiler unit comes with some silicone bumps on top so you can set the hot iron directly on it. You can't set the iron on its heel because the steam plumbing comes out there. However, you can use any rest that's suitable for the base of any conventional iron, and a separate silicone iron rest was included with my unit. The only drawback to a unit like this is the relatively slow heatup and cooldown time. Allow 15 minutes (20 at the most) to bring the boiler up to steam heat from room temperature. And allow an hour to cool off and open up a filled boiler after making steam. Since one filling satisfies my needs, this drawback has not be a problem in practice for me.

waring professional juicer rocks

by Carol Shelton from Jackson, MO USA on 2010-06-17
This juicer rocks. Not only is it easy to use, virtually dummy proof but it is also easy to clean. The parts come apart easily and whether you clean it by hand or in the dishwasher it cleans up easily. Love the fresh juice and the combinations are endless. The juicer is a little larger than I thought it would be but that's ok because it works so well.

Good juicer

by brazilindy from Indianapolis, IN USA on 2010-03-03
This is my first juicer, so I don't have much to compare it to. But after having it for a month, I do have an impression of its performance and quality. We use it almost daily and put a good variety of fruits and vegetables through it: oranges, grapefruit, pineapple, apples, carrots, celery, beets, etc. It has never gotten clogged up, overheated, or otherwise malfunctioned. It has never spilled/leaked juice all over my counter like I've seen in other posts. There are only about five or six parts to wash after each use, and it disassembles/assembles very easily. One feature I like is that the pitcher that catches the juice has a foam separator -- keeps the foam in the pitcher while you pour out the juice into your glass.I've noticed, however, that the pulp it kicks out is still fairly wet. I'm guessing that with a more expensive machine, I'm going to get drier pulp -- therefore, more juice -- than I'm getting with this machine. Overall though I'm happy with what I've got.

Works great for me!

by H. Wood from New Mexico on 2010-01-13
I waited until I'd had mine for a month, to make sure I wasn't missing some problem, but I haven't discovered a single one. I make large quantities of juice nearly every day, and in my view this juicer is efficient and simple to clean. It hasn't overheated, and it's handled every fruit I put in it with no hassle. I do tend to be careful not to overstuff the feed chute, but I've juiced whole apples without a hitch. I consider it a great buy for the money.

Not what I expected.

by N. Bryant from on 2009-05-27
I am afraid that this product did not work for us. Not only we had clean up the counters full of flying pulp and pulp was full of juice as well.

The fine teeth of this oversized grater are ideal for use with citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts, ginger and garlic. This is a professional style tool designed and built to take lots of use in busy commercial kitchens, so it will certainly stand up to daily work in your kitchen.

This manual grater finely grinds cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, or ginger with ease. Originally designed for shaving wood, the patented 18/8 stainless-steel Microplane blade has razor-sharp teeth that make grating effortless and that won’t clog. The large 5-by-2-1/2-inch grating surface can handle bigger ingredients, such as large lemons for zesting, and the matching 18/8 stainless-steel frame and satin-finish offer durable support for the blade. The grater has a non-slip rubber grip just above its head to keep it steady on a tabletop during grating. A plastic safety cover is also included to keep fingers safe and to keep the blade from dulling while in storage. This grater is dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. --Cristina Vaamonde

Does a nice job of grating and is easy to store. With this, as with all fine cutters, I use a cut-resistant glove.

microplane pro grater performs

by jennifer j. from great lakes usa on 2010-03-23
i am very happy with the fine spice grater. it has a rubber cover over the far end to help hold it still on a counter or cutting board. the rest of the grater is stainless steel except for the plastic blade cover which fits well. it is easy to hold and easy to clean.it is not flimsy, but feels sturdy in use. the hole in the handle allows me to hang it from my wrought iron oval pot rack. I plan to get the coarse model.

Excellent!

Just the best. All of the Professional series of Microplane graters can't be beat. Go for the top of the line here, you won't be disappointed.

Great while it lasts

by b from on 2010-09-01
I purchased a Waring Pro WMK 300 several years ago from Costco and was very pleased with it--I had no problems with it at all. After a house fire, the waffle maker was one of the first appliances I replaced. However, the replacement waffle baker I purchased this time in 2008 from Macy's lasted less than 2 years--just past the 1 year manufacture's warranty. The screws that hold the plastic hinges together are falling out---the whole thing actually falls apart when I rotate it---the plastic could not withstand the high heat from the waffle maker and became brittle. I am very disappointed with the quality of this appliance. To have this Waring Pro WMK 300 last less than 2 years---and cost 5 times as much as an old waffle iron that was still going strong after 25 years----is very disheartening. I have seen the double waffle makers produced by Waring Pro--but considering my experience with this one, why would I want to spend that much money to perhaps get another piece of junk in less than 2 years?

Belgian Waffle Maker

by Joseph Anthony from SAINT PETERSBURG, FLORIDA, US on 2010-08-29
I am very pleased with this waffle maker. I have used it about 6 times, using recipts from the Krusteaz box and from the instruction book. I liked the one for Apple Spice Waffles and specially the Good Night Waffles. I bought this product on the strength of the good reviews, the one on replacing the fuse was very good

JUST LIKE THE HOTEL WAFFLES

by angelmyst from NE AL. US on 2010-08-27
We have owned this for about a month, so I cannot say how long it will last, however, we use it 3-4 times a week and so far so good.We also purchased this waffle maker because it looks just like the one at the hotels...which we love those fresh made waffles. We tried a different brand of waffle maker first, which was about half the price of this one, but it did not cook evenly. Waffles cook and look just like the picture, evenly browned and taste great. It is large and maybe hard to store in a small kitchen, but we use it several times a week, so it stays on the counter.Last comment, if your in a hurry, try the waffle/pancake batter in a can- Batter Blaster (its organic) we purchase at Wal-mart, this works perfect in the waffle maker and tastes great, yes, from a can and it doesn't taste like its from a can.

Good Quality Waffle Maker

by Mike from on 2010-08-22
I've been very pleased with the quality of this waffle maker. We purchased this after staying at a hotel that had one and wanted to be able to make great Belgian waffles at home. This waffle maker did the trick for us. We've never had a problem with sticking and cleanup is a breeze.

Excellent Waffle Maker

by An-j from on 2010-08-22
I loved the look and style of the waffle maker. Makes wonderful waffles, only thing that bothered me is that the swivel gets a little stuck and is hard to turn te 180 degree flip. Other than that, it is a great waffle maker and made a great gift!
