What is the best way to get a sponsor for a party?
A friend of mine and I plan for a big party this year on July 4. We're both in college and have a tremendous amount of money for startup costs, Our thoughts etc. to reduce costs was to get sponsors. We plan to have alcohol to about 600. We were thinking of heading to a liquor store for us a discount of some kind, or have a restaurant supply company or some foods. How can we do to get them to give us a discount?, Or possibly things free? What things would give them incentives to give a discount??? We have started a business plan outline Deal Type and we plan to present that. Anything else si?
Simply ask a friend of mine has a golf league of only 10 individuals. They are sponsored by major beer companies, golf ball, club manufacturers whatever. They receive all sorts of things to write a formal letter to your customer care professional or community contacts and ask. You will be surprised by the results. Keep the letter very professional and a letterhead. The more formal it is, the more likely that you sponsor. Oh, and another thing always start at the beginning of this year, if you start later this year, you may have run out of sponsorship funds.
